Winter's Wrath 12/28/2008

Heavy flakes of white;

dance gracefully in flight

Finally finding rest;

her non resilient bones stressed.

Children play in her domain;

until the Sun begins to wane.

Then they jaunt on inside;

to thaw by a fires pride.

Limbs bend and they break,

with each fresh virgin flake

Her power is certainly great

Devouring all in her icy fate

See all the stories you've heard are true

And theres nothing that you can do

If you find yourself at an unclear path

This is Mother Nature's wrath

    Semblance

    I am but an image
    Built from your own mind
    A similitude of growing old
    And feeling dull
    I'm just a feeling
    Created from the depths of your soul
    A likeness only of her emotion
    And a pretense of her similarity
    Sometimes feebleminded
    Sporadically seethe with understanding
    A conception of representation
    A mere fragment, a breath of life
    Befitting an aura of darkness
    Absorbed by doubt
    Just a pretext of air
    I am almost wasting space
    I am but an analogy
    Lost but cosigned with hope
    You chose to confiscate me
    Don't mask my beauty
    I am what I am!
