(This one might be rewritten in song format)

Little and delicate

Simple and sweet

There was one thing missing

That I thought would be neat

It was all I wanted

Just two little words

Could somebody tell me

“You're Beautiful”

Older and sassy

Wide-eyed and sweet

Still missing that one thing

That I thought would be neat

It was all I wanted

Just two little words

Could somebody tell me

“You're Beautiful”

Matured and Independent

Bold and sweet

Yet still one thing missing

That I thought would be neat

It was all I wanted

Just two little words

Could somebody tell

“You're Beautiful”

Not my mom

Or my dad

Nor someone who previously had

I wanted somebody, anybody

To tell me

“You're Beautiful”

It definitely sounds more like a song to me than a poem, but doesn't matter what you gonna turn it into later on, it's a great piece of art. The message and the way you feel couldn't be more clear, and I hope that soon you can look into the mirror and say: Yes I am beautiful!

I tell you often that you are beautiful (and no I not only tell you that because I love you!), and I know/hope that you believe it when I tell you. I wouldn't lie to you!

I love you Sugar Cookie, I love you more than you know and for me you'll always be beautiful. Beautiful and special like a pearl in the ocean!

    Semblance

    I am but an image
    Built from your own mind
    A similitude of growing old
    And feeling dull
    I'm just a feeling
Created from the depths of your soul
A likeness only of her emotion
And a pretense of her similarity
    Sometimes feebleminded
    Sporadically seethe with understanding
    A conception of representation
A mere fragment, a breath of life
    Befitting an aura of darkness
    Absorbed by doubt
    Just a pretext of air
    I am almost wasting space
    I am but an analogy
    Lost but cosigned with hope
    You chose to confiscate me
    Don't mask my beauty
    I am what I am!
