Betrayal 09/04/2008

How could I be so cruel,
To leave you standing there?

Our intertwined hearts duel;
But this challenge wasn't fair.

My love for you was true,
Until I found her in our bed.

So I had to leave you,
I couldn't let you stay in my head.

Your love has never left me;
But I'm still going, coping.

It's you inside her I see.
The whore's legs spread open.

    Semblance

    I am but an image
    Built from your own mind
    A similitude of growing old
    And feeling dull
    I'm just a feeling
    Created from the depths of your soul
    A likeness only of her emotion
    And a pretense of her similarity
    Sometimes feebleminded
    Sporadically seethe with understanding
    A conception of representation
    A mere fragment, a breath of life
    Befitting an aura of darkness
    Absorbed by doubt
    Just a pretext of air
    I am almost wasting space
    I am but an analogy
    Lost but cosigned with hope
    You chose to confiscate me
    Don't mask my beauty
    I am what I am!
